1 easy Way To Have More Energy

1 easy Way To Have More Energy

Hi all,

I was at a four day event recently, the hours were long (12+ hours some days) and involved a lot of late nights, early mornings, lots of brain work and a whole lot of dancing. But I can honestly say my energy levels were through the roof!

It got me thinking how much better we'd all feel and how much happier we would all be if we had MORE ENERGY and also the ripple effect that would have on our friends and families, imagine having more energy to do the things you enjoy with them.

Now this top tip you all know, every one of you! It's suuuuuper duper easy to implement too but I'm guessing the majority of you don't and I think I might know the reason's for that. 1. you are in the habit of having alternative options 2. you've never been told WHY it's suuuuuuuper important to incorporate it in to your life. We all know there's things we should do in life, but it's only once we truly know WHY that a should becomes a must!!

So what do I think you must do to have more energy that easy, readily available and FREEEEEEE!

Are you ready?..... It's to....... Drink..... More.... lovely, amazing, delicious, tasty...... WATER!!! 💦 💧 💦

I know I know you're rolling your eyes and saying "yeah we we know that, we know that". You do I'm sure... But are you doing it?

If that answer is no below are 12 reasons you should start.

If the answer is yes, then ask yourself this, are you drinking enough? Keep reading right to the to the end find out how much you should be drinking and read the 12 reasons below so you'll realise you why you must have more.

💧1. Water is the largest single component of the body, the brain is 76% water, lungs 90% water, blood 84% water and plasma 98% Water

💧2. Helps us to repair, water serves as a building material for growth and repair of the body

💧3. If you donít drink water, you will die. That might sound OTT but it's true. Depending on our environment, we can live only a few days without water - maybe a week. We can live much longer without food. For most of us, we should prioritise the consumption of water far more than we currently do, it really is that important..

💧4. Water prevents cancer. Yes, thatís right Ė various research says staying hydrated can reduce risk of colon cancer by 45% 1 , bladder cancer by 50%2 , and possibly reduce breast cancer risk as well 3.

💧5. Water makes you happy. it's not tequila that makes you happy it's water :) Research says dehydration can affect your mood and make you grumpy and confused 4. Drinking more water will help you to think clearer and be happier :D

💧6. Makes you perform better. Proper hydration contributes to increased athletic performance. Water composes 75% of our muscle tissue! 5 Dehydration can lead to weakness, fatigue, dizziness, and electrolyte imbalance.

💧7. Helps you lose weight. Sometimes we think we are hungry, when actually we are thirsty. Our body just starts turning on all the alarms when we ignore it. For those of you trying to drop some pounds, staying hydrated can serve as an appetite suppressant and help with weight loss.

💧8. Reduces joint pain. Drinking water can reduce pain in your joints by keeping the cartilage soft and hydrated. This is actually how glucosamine helps reduce joint pain, by aiding in cartilageís absorption of water.

💧9. Flushes out waste and bacteria. Our digestive system needs water to function properly. Waste is flushed out in the form of urine and sweat. If we don't drink water, we don't flush out waste and it collects in our body causing a myriad of problems.

💧10. Prevents headaches. Sometimes headaches can be caused by dehydration, so drinking water can prevent or alleviate that nasty head pain. Next time your head hurts, try drinking water.

💧11. Makes your skin glow. Our skin is the largest organ in our body. Regular and plentiful water consumption can improve the colour and texture of your skin by keeping it building new cells properly

💧12. Feed your body. Water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body. Water serves at the bodyís transportation system and when we are dehydrated things just canít get around as well.

The long and short of it is this; 💦 💧 💦 EVERY CELL IN YOUR BODY NEEDS WATER 💦 💧 💦  not tea, coffee, coke, energy drinks or any other liquid we drink, JUST WATER, Mother Nature has provided all we need for health. Drinking anything other than water means your body has to break them down (using energy) so they are able to be used by the cells for energy. Drinking water gives cells exactly what they need to generate energy without having to use more energy in the process, plus it's packed full of essential minerals depending on the source.

But I've tried I hear you say...

I know you have, and you've probably tried too hard, and restricted yourself too much initially. The long lasting changes in life are the little ones, if we go from one extreme to the other, guess what the energy it took to push forward, is often the same energy that pulls us back. So my advice is start small and easy, have one big glass of water in the morning before your usual drink choice, and make sure your last drink of the day is water. Once you're in the habit of doing that (after a week) add a glass mid morning, and then one mid afternoon, keep increasing like that and before you know it you'll be drinking more water than ever, feeling better than you have in ages, and you will be giving your body what it needs!!

Oooh one last tip of you suffer from IBS or any other digestive complaints try drinking warm water (1/2 boiled 1/2 cold) instead of cold. I had one lady contact me who's IBS reduced to a manageable level just by making this one little change!

Who is going to give it a go? My moto in life with anything is test it and see! I look at everything as an experiment, and assess how it makes me feel and the difference it makes in my life! Unless you do it, you really don't know how it will make you feel otherwise!

If you found this email useful let me know! I really want to know how much better you feel after increasing your water intake too!!

Feel free to share this email with others who may be interested.

Wishing you health, happiness and lots of love,

Emma and the team x

p.s There's lots of conflicting advice regarding water intake, health authorities recommend 8 8 ounce glasses per day which is 2 litres. Other advice is 1/2 your body weight in ounces so if you weigh 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces (which is 3 litres). I feel it makes sense to go off your body weight, as the amount is perfect for you then :)

What Our Patients Say About Us

FEELING LIKE A DIFFERENT PERSON - REJUVENATED, FREE FROM STRESS, ANXIETY, IBS & SLEEPING BETTER!,
Before I came to the Acupuncture Lounge for treatment I was stressed, tense and had anxiety, trouble sleeping and problems with IBS and other symptoms. After my Free Health Consultation I didn't have any reservations about going for Acupuncture, it has been a very relaxing and calming experience. All of the symptoms above seem to have been mitigated in some way or another. I've been told by my friends and work colleagues that I seem to have a smile on my face more often than not, my partner says I am a different person, and I feel rejuvenated. If you're considering acupuncture I would say go for it and give it a try - give the tablets up! Mr Robin Allen 14/10/2016
FEELING RELAXED & SYMPTOM FREE
Just to say thank you! I can only try to put into words how grateful I am to Emma for everything she has done for me. From the very first appointment and every single step along the way, she has made me feel so special and cared for I feel like it was impossible for me to not benefit from the process even without the acupuncture bit! She always remembers the little things, from how many pillows you like to what plans you had a week last Saturday! And the little chats we would have before the relaxation part would always lift my spirits and put me in a good mood! Emma's knowledge is unbelievable and the way she explains how things work is fascinating and makes so much sense, you really start to see things a different way and realise how things within the body logically effect other parts. The acupuncture itself was an amazing experience and the most relaxing treatment I have ever had. I looked forward every week to my appointments and saw them as a real treat for myself, the health benefits and the face I am pretty much symptom free were a bonus really! I am absolutely convinced acupuncture is an amazing effective treatment that absolutely works. The way I feel just six weeks down the line was worth every penny and I truly feel that having Emma provide the service with all her knowledge and genuine care only added to this amazing experience.
