We are moving - NEW LOCATION OPENING IN SEPTEMBER.

One thing is for sure in the world we’re living in at the moment, there is always news, things are pretty uncertain and things are changing frequently!

News and change is the theme of my blog today too. There is a lot to cover, so get yourself a cuppa and get comfortable…

Ready? Here goes…

Big news, WE ARE MOVING! To be COVID secure I have to work differently, leaving gaps between patients to clean and sanitise, only seeing one patient at a time, wearing PPE and many other things.

My governing body anticipates this way of working which is referred to as “careful practice” to be around for a while. With that in mind I have decided to leave the premises that I have occupied for almost 5 years and return to my home treatment room where my business began almost 7 years ago.

As you can imagine although I didn't have much choice it still wasn't an easy decision to make, however now I have processed everything and got used to the idea of closing my beautiful clinic, I am feeling positive about the prospect of working from home again, it worked really well last time and with the experience of having a premises I believe it will be even better this time round.

HOME TREATMENT ROOM

Rest assured whether you are a current patient waiting for me to reopen, or a future patient, the standard of care and level of professionalism I work to will not be reduced in a home treatment room and I believe the new space has some added benefits, these include:

  • Privacy - as the treatment room is in my house it is private, you have anonymity as nobody knows you’re here, you don’t see anybody else coming or going.
  • Easy location - my house is easy to find and is a 2 minute drive away from the clinic. I have a drive with two parking spaces, they will be for patient use only on the days I am working.
  • Only 1 treatment room - not running 2 rooms and not having other practitioners in at the same time means it will be completely private and lovely and peaceful.
  • My undivided attention - I will be able to treat and treat only - just me doing what I love and giving it my full attention.
  • Purpose specific room - the home treatment room is being upgraded we speak and will have everything a treatment room needs. It is licensed by Wyre Borough Council and will be COVID secure

I will be reopening at the new location week commencing the 7th of September.

WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

I understand that I wasn't working from a home treatment room when some of my patients first came to see me, and when potential patients made an enquiry or were added to our waiting list so this might change things for you going forward.

Current patients - I have been updating you by email if you have missed any please let me know and I can resend them to you. I will be in touch soon to get your appointments in the diary.

People on the waiting list - I have emailed you too, if you are happy to remain on our waiting list, you don't need to do anything. When I reopen as you can understand my priority will be to get my existing patients booked in, once I have space I will be opening my booking system to new patients and will be in touch by email.

If you no longer want to remain on the waiting list please do send me an email and I will remove you.

I know that is a lot to take in, the coronacoaster can’t last forever and I’m hoping it is plain sailing going forward.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding and patience.

I can’t wait to help you to feel happy, healthy and pain free in the near future in my new treatment room :)

Take care and keep safe,
